The slick metal mesh is not visible to the user of the scope due to the thin metal  used. However it will avoid reflections of the scope lens that can give a away your position.

Natural extension

It can be screwed on the NOVRITSCH scope as well as onto the NOVRITSCH scope extender. Also the flipup covers can still be used.
