You have chosen the SSP18 as your sidearm. Below we will walk you through everything you might need for the pistol. All the items are optional and you can choose what you want to add. Just check the boxes and choose quantities.

SSP18 Gas Blowback Pistol

First of all, you have two options to choose from, CO2 and Gas. Which one should you pick? There is no right or wrong answer. CO2 kicks more since the pressure is higher. It also works in lower temperatures but it's not easy to refill in the middle of the game. You have to remove the whole CO2 cartridge and put a new one in.

Gas is more convenient to use, magazines can be refilled any time just like a regular lighter and you have 4 power levels to choose from.
The difference between the two pistols is only the magazine. The pistol is the same so you can have both magazine variants if you want.

SSP18 - CO2/Gas Magazine

First of all - spare magazines. If you only plan on using it as a sidearm, one magazine is already included with the SSP18. However, only 1 magazine is usually not enough for a regular game because when you encounter more enemies, you will have to reload. Generally speaking, at least 1-2 spare magazines are very useful in a game. If your primary rifle is a sniper, definitely consider getting at least 2 spare mags (3 total).

SSP18 - GAS Magazine Extended

Completely Optional - A extended GAS Magazine that holds 49 BBs and lots of gas. If you plan on playing with your SSP18 only, an extended magazine is a game-changer. The obvious advantage is more capacity, the drawback is the heavier weight and size. Choose accordingly but note that this magazine definitely adds coolness to the setup.

Open Pistol Magazine Pouch [DISCONTINUED]

You have to carry all the spare magazines in a pouch. Get as many pouches as you have spare magazines. These are also universal and you can use them for any other pistol magazines.

Holster - SSP18/SSE18 (L/R)

A holster is a must when you want to play. Your hands are busy carrying your primary rifle and you don't want to carry your pistol in a pocket where it's not easily accessible.
There are only 2 scenarios in which a holster is not super important - plinking in your backyard and when you only use the pistol in the field without a primary rifle. If these two are not the case, add the holster. You will need it.
Included with this holster is a paddle mount, if you want other mounting options you can find them in our shop.

BBs - Bags

The 0.32g BBs are rather universal for the SSP18. The 0.28g BBs should be used in lower temperatures. They are faster but slightly less accurate than the 0.32g BBs.

Airsoft Gas

If you chose the GAS variant of the SSP18, you will need this to run the pistol. It is important to use the right gas for the right gun at the right temperature with the right BBs.
Check the table at the beginning and pick the right gas. Be aware that using Super High Pressure gas in high temperatures may damage the pistol.
If you're not sure, generally speaking, CO2 and High Pressure (Red gas) should cover most of the scenarios and temperatures for the SSP18.

Important: We know that the SSP18 can handle strong gas. Don't use High pressure gas with other replicas if you're not sure that they can take it.

10x CO2 Capsule (12g)

If you picked the CO2 variant, the choice is easy. Just get as many as you want. We would advise you to get at least 2 boxes (20 cartridges total). You will be able to shoot approximately 2 magazines with one cartridge so keep restocking in mind when choosing quantity. CO2 will not go bad over time.

Speedloader

Loading the magazines with BBs one by one is not fun at all. Speedloader greatly reduces the time you need for loading the magazines and is a very handy tool to have. Definitely consider getting one.

Maintenance Kit Gen2

Maintaining your SSP18 is easy with this kit. It includes everything you will need to take care of almost any airsoft rifle. Silicon oil, barrel cleaning rod, wipes, screw glue and more.
