Gun Camo Wraps - Accessory Covers
Spray paint or a Gun Cover?
If you intend to camouflage yourself, leaving your replica out of this is a bad idea. Especially if we consider that these are often black and unnatural in shape, making them very visible out in nature.
In general, you have 2 options for covering up an airsoft replica: spray painting it or using a gun camo wrap.
Spray painting is a great, cheap DIY project. However, it costs a lot of time and effort to nail properly. On the other hand, gun wraps are simpler and require little to no skill. And in most cases, the camouflage effect is also better since you have 3D leaves breaking up the silhouette of the camouflaged object. In our opinion, this very much justifies the slightly larger costs.
How do we camouflage our snipers?
When camouflaging our own replicas, we rely on gun camo wraps on top of spray paint. This has 3 main advantages to it:
- They are easy to put up
- They are not permanent
- They offer a 3D camo effect
This way, if your environment changes, the camo can as well. That is extremely convenient.
Sniper Camouflage 101: Camo accessories
The best way to do it - according to what we found out - is to combine 3 things with your camouflage:
A spray paint pattern with a gun camo wrap top and camo accessories on top of it. You can either use standard grass and leaves from where you use your camouflage, or you can check out our artificial camouflage. It goes along perfectly with the mesh system, allowing for easy application and long durability.
